CHEROK PALOH, 2nd September 2020 : It had been a great opportunity to all the members of Marine School as a special sharing session with Prof. Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail was held even during COVID-19 time. The event took place in INOCEM and talk was conducted via online platform, Zoom from 9 am to 12 pm.
The event started with a sharing session from Dr. Fuad, one of the members of Planning and Fundraising Team of Marine School, explaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of Marine School. Besides, the briefing session also introduce the matters related to marine school, its upcoming events and its future collaborations.
The session was followed by discussions among the participants, including Prof. Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail before she continued to the highlight of the event, which is her session. Her sharing session focused mainly on potential areas for research improvements and collaborators for marine school future plan. She had also encourage Marine school to involve the local community especially in surrounded area to be part of the programs participants.
At the end of the session, Prof. Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail took a short visit around INOCEM and then joined the picnic by the beach, together with the participants. The program ended at 1pm.
