Dr Siti Fatimah Zakaria is an assistant professor at International Islamic University Malaysia specialised in Statistical Mechanics. Her work focuses on the field of mathematics specifically on mathematical modelling of physical systems. She has keen interest in learning new things and volunteering for community service. Her experience that covers monitoring faculty web page operations and IT related work has sparked her interest to be a part of the team. The marine field is a new field for her, but she believes the opportunity to learn more about the marine and environment will open up to possibilities for her to contribute in creating a more sustainable marine management system.
