Dr Syikin is a medicinal chemist from Department of Chemistry, IIUM Kuantan. The underlying focus of her research involve in design and synthesis of small molecules for therapeutics applications. Outside of the office, she is associated with IIUM Marine School under secretariat team to support the management in ensuring the smooth functioning of the management committee. The involvement in this SDG also her stepping stone to educate herself and the society on how to conserve marine ecosystems for the sake of tomorrow’s future.
